Travel Fashion Girl: Travel Fashion Trends and Advice for Women

We have nearly kissed goodbye to summer for another year, yet this doesn’t mean you can’t bring some sunshine to the winter months ahead. When it comes to the colder months a lot of people’s wardrobes tend to automatically become dull and boring. A colour palette of black, grey and cream seems to form. But why can’t we keep the vibrancy running through the dull and dreary period? Surely this is the time when we need colour the most? It seems the trend setters and the leading fashion designers of the world would agree as block colour really took over the runway in the recent fashion weeks.

After all, pink is the colour of winter this year. That’s right; pink. Not black! Not grey! Not brown! And we aren’t just talking about dusty pinks and winter wonderland pale pinks. Fuchsia and vibrant shades are set to run riot. Other colours which are set to make a massive impression over the months ahead are plum, cobalt blue and red. Don’t feel the need to tone these colours down either. It is all in the name; block colour. Co-ordinates are really in fashion at the moment. Why not go for a cobalt blue blazer with a pair of matching wide leg trousers? Or why not go for a pink leather pencil skirt with a pink woollen jumper? You can really turn heads in these block colour ensembles.

Nevertheless, going for such a bold and striking look is not everybody’s cup of tea. Yet this does not mean that the block colour trend is not for you. It simply means you need to work it in a different way. Why not match an accessory to one item of your clothing rather than going for two garments? You could wear a pair of skinny jeans and some ankle boots and then finish off the look with a red shirt and a red watch? Or, what about a cobalt blue shift dress with a pair of blue earrings? A watch is definitely a good place to start though. You can rest assured that a watch will be the first accessory everyone notices. This is what turns heads.

There is no better time to bring out the vibrancy in your wardrobe than over the few months ahead. Just because the weather is going to be dreary and dull  does not mean your wardrobe has to follow suit. Standout from the crowd with this year’s hottest trend; block colour, and you will keep the sun shining all throughout the winter period. The only question is; what colour should you go for first? Do you feel like going bold in blue? Or what about princess perfect in pink? Or how about going rosy in red? Don’t hold back!

If you traveling to Dubai, you might want to grab a Saint Laurent bag from Farfetch, they always on the trend and sometime you might be lucky and get them on discounts.

Designer jewellery trends for A/W 2019

Jewellery is an essential part of any outfit; it can act as a finishing touch to complete your ensemble or alternatively it can be the centrepiece which draws attention and consequently makes the entire look you are going for. Either way, it is important that you stay ahead of the game by keeping up to date with the designer jewellery trends for the coming season. By rummaging through the A/W 2019 fashion weeks we’ve managed to compile a list of the up and coming trends for the coming months…

Bold statement earrings

Big, bold and extravagant is the way to go when it comes to earrings for the coming season if Meadham Kirchhoff, Karl Lagerfeld, Moschino, Dolce & Gabbana and Louise Gray are anything to go by. Huge chandeliers and oversized statement shapes have made their way back to the forefront of fashion. However, don’t stick to merely gold or silver, as colour is set to continue its dominance throughout the summer into winter as well.

Tribal jewellery

Ethnic tribal designer jewellery played its part in an array of fashion compilations displayed at the Autumn/Winter 2012 shows. This type of jewellery is certainly the sort which takes centre stage when combined with any outfit. The textures, colours and intricate designs used all combine to create a show-stopping look. Osman, M. Patmos, Libertine, Ashish and Fyodor Golan all incorporated the trend into their collections.

Cuffs

Cuffs are a celebrity favourite and a catwalk favourite. They’ve been showcased on the runway via the likes of Paul Smith, Pamela Love and Michael Van Der Ham. As well as on the red carpet via the likes of Kim Kardashian, Gabriella Cilmi, Ashley Bensen and Jennifer Lopez. The popular choice seems to be to go for plain block silver or gold, however embellished and jewelled cuffs can be an attractive alternative.
