5. Warsaw, Poland
It’s a lot quieter than most European tourist destinations, but it’s definitely worth visiting if you’re interested in history. The uprising museum is incredibly well done, as is the Jewish museum. The rebuilt old town is pretty and worth a visit. It’s incredibly cheap, and has a similar food and bar scene as Berlin but at a fraction of the price. You can get to Krakow in under 3 hours on the train which is a much bigger town with more tourist stuff to do, so it’s definitely worth combining the two if you have the time.
